I’m going to try doing this once a week, most likely on a Friday or Sunday. The podcast most likely won’t be a weekly show, but I at least want to keep people informed.
If you didn’t listen to Episode 71, or if you didn’t hear it, I outlined the new line up for 2010:
- Untitled Comics Show: I will be doing a comic book related show, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be the same weekly review thing. I have ideas, but nothing concrete. They may just be audio essays and reviews of major storylines… we’ll see.
- Who Watches the Who: Longtime friend and listener Cari and I sit down and talk Doctor Who. Mostly, we’ll be looking at episodes of the Ninth and Tenth Doctors, and do news when it comes up. We’ll probably look at the Eleventh Doctor too, when he debuts in May.
- Tricordin’: A Star Trek show with a currently unknown format. I don’t want to do the same thing as I’m doing with Doctor Who, because there are over 25 seasons of Star Trek, and doing an episode by episode review would be too much. I’ll probably throw in my Star Trek Online experiences. The first episode might be in late February/early March.
- The Sporting Goods: Ian and I are probably going to record this quarterly, or whenever we get a chance to. We might do an NFL season review after the Super Bowl, and do a little MLB Hot Stove Retrospective when Spring Training rolls along.
So that’s about it… except for a teaser of an upcoming episode: He’s Coming…. Begin the Fortification of Man! Just Understand Amazing News!

The Geeks Unite Podcast/Geeks Unite Network aired it’s first 0 episode on it’s original feed three years ago today!
I switched it over to Libsyn on January 29th, 2007. Expect a celebratory episode next week!

I figure I’ll be a little more accountable and try to stick to a plan week-to-week, especially now that I’m not really writing any major projects.
This week, I’ll be recording a Big Apple Recap, with some recordings from the con itself. That should be released on the 19th or the 21st.
I may also get a review show going for the 22nd or 23rd. Probably a 20 – 40 minute release.
